Mardi Gras Party—Laissez les bons temps rouler! Sidecar Cocktail Lounge is hosting our third annual PHCoR Mardi Gras Party on Tuesday, February 17 at 6:30pm. Justin is planning another great NOLA buffet (at a reasonable price), and I expect there will be special drinks as well. Come join us!
Cabin Fever Bowling Tournament—Signup now for the inaugural Cabin Fever Bowling Tournament at River City Roll on February 28 with bowling starting at 4:00 PM followed by a concert at 6:00 PM. This will be a charity fund-raiser with music provided by members of Dreamsicle and Permanent Vacation (“Permanently Dreaming”). PHCoR has paid for 18 people (3 teams) and has been asked to help on the day of the event. The benefitting charity will be Children’s Home Society of Virginia. Richmond City Half Marathon & 5K—We have been asked to provide 10-12 beer pourers for this event on March 7 at the University of Richmond campus. Janet McKenney is coordinating and has some spots remaining to assist. This will be from 8:30am - 12:30pm. Contact Janet for questions.
Monument Avenue 10K—The Monument Avenue 10K will be held on April 18. I believe Jerry has signed us up and has requested our usual spot at the intersection with N. Robinson St. (or will do so soon). Look for more details closer to April.
Margaritaville (Virtual) Run 2026—Registration has opened up for the annual virtual Margaritaville Run event that helps raise funds for Give Kids The World Village (provides critically ill children and their families with magical weeklong vacations at not cost).
